Create a Personal Intention Talisman
Sigil Magic Workshop
Metal talismans and charms have been used by cultures all over the world for thousands of years for decoration, personal adornment, protection, and veneration of the lands and gods. Talismans were often carried in a pouch, sewn into clothing, or displayed in the home.
These talismans were charmed with personal energies and unique symbols to seal in the magic of specific intentions, to attract all manner of things including health, wealth, good luck, and love. There are also some amazing examples of curse tablets on display at the Hellenic Museum here in Melbourne!
In this two and a half hour class, you will be guided on different ways to create your own magic-infused sigils for specific intentions, as well as exploring a range of techniques to create your own personalised tin talismans using easily accessible materials. We will then decorate the talismans using bells, beads, charms, ribbons, and other goodies that call to you.
Light refreshments will be supplied, including snacks, tea, and wine. Feel free to bring your own food or order delivery from the amazing local food spots.
