Protection Broom Workshop

Create a Wall Hanging to Sweep Away Bad Vibes

The witch broom (or besom) has long been associated with the occult, fertility and feminine empowerment. The broom is a powerful symbol of cleansing, protection and good luck. Folklore and superstition tell of rituals involving them, and they appear in many pagan and witchcraft practices all over the world.

In modern times, people often give brooms to new homeowners to sweep away the negative energies left behind by previous owners and occupiers.

A handmade broom infused with your own energy and intention is a visual reminder of removing harmful or negative energies; perfect to hang near your front door, in your bedroom or creative spaces. The broom you create will be a one-of-a-kind reminder of the strength you hold and the power you have.

In this two and a half hour class, you will craft a unique protection broom wall hanging, made from sustainably sourced and local natural materials. We will then decorate the brooms with beads, charms, crystals, ribbons, shells, feathers and other goodies that call to you.

This is a gentle group gathering to connect, or reconnect, with your creativity in unexpected and powerful ways, with zero pressure or requirements to create something ‘good’. Our events prioritise comfort, safety, and respect so you can show up as you are and fully engage in the process.

Light refreshments will be supplied including snacks, tea and wine. Feel free to bring your own food or order delivery from the amazing local food spots.
